Daisy Marc Jacobs
I'm sincerely not trying to advertise or anything, but I've been going to the daisy marc jacobs website http://www.daisymarcjacobs.com/us/ because they have a new cute daisy flower perfume [probably expensive as hell, didn't even check XD] and they made a whole sort of game page for it. If you make an account, you get a "daisy" and by playing one of 5 games [air, rain, pollinate, sunshine, wind] you earn points which grow your daisy from 0% to 200%, and everytime you get 10% more [with 1 exception], you unlock a new downloadable "reward". Mostly the rewards are just creensavers or backgrounds, but they are really cute, and i know only a few of the backgrounds are available on google images. There are also AIM icons to be downloaded, myspace themes, and a little widget that you can add to your own blog, which is actually the only reason I am writing this. :) so, umm I'm not sure which widget is better. I'll put both and you guys can hopefully tell me which is prettier! XD
Click To Give
Hello nonexistent blog viewers!
I would like to talk to you guys about http://www.clicktogive.com/ . Here, you waste a few precious seconds of your time to click on some buttons which in turn donate stuff to one of 6 causes:
-animal care
-feed the poor
-stop child abuse
-end homelessness
-breast cancer
-sponsor children
To help one or all of these causes, you go to the website [linked above] and click on each cause, once per day. This website is sponsored through advertising, so you will see random ads whenever you click BTW.
If you make a free account you can also track your changes- so you can see how many days of sponsorship your clicking has provided, how much food etc. Also, if you have an account every click you make will get you one point, which you can later reedeem for free stuff from the organizations that you are donating to by clicking. There are things like t-shirts, backpacks, candles, bags etc. Sure, you need to save up your clicks/ points for a while, but i think its a nice way to reward yourself for helping others [I have my eyes on the breast cancer backpack or the notebooks :D]
So, i suggest You check it out!
